Reached the Finish Line for Semester #1

I'M FINISHED!! I just submitted my second response to the last book review, my webpage is done, complete with Thoreau fragment...so I believe I am done. Hooray! It was a very challenging 12 weeks, but very rewarding. After 8 years at home with my kids, I wondered if I had the brains and the stamina to do this. I guess I do. I'm looking forward to the next three weeks off, but will be ready for semester #2!

This picture of my kids was taken on a trip to the Franklin Inst. in Philly, early this summer, we also caught a Phillies game. They've been very patient with Mommy all semester, so now we're heading for a week at the beach!!

The Discovery Channel is airing "Ocean of Fear" on Sunday July 29, about the sinking of the USS Indianapolis. My uncle died on this vessel, so this film is of special interest to me. The film kicks off the Discovery Channel's annual Shark Week.

Got pulled over today, driving 40mph in a 25mph zone, just around the corner from my house! All I have to say is "Oh crap!"
